This is the first in a series of posts on the art I have featured at Re/Max Advantage Realty in downtown Baltimore. I have a mixture of original paintings and prints on display. Cycles is one of the large canvas prints of my original fluid acrylic painting, shown above. 

The colors in the print and original match perfectly. Because of the quality of the scanned image of my painting, the print is actually larger than the original painting. The painting is 16" X 26" while the print is 20" X 32".  The original was painted so the image wraps around the edge and the same is true of the print.

The art on display is for sale and purchases can be made through me. If you want to see the print you can visit RE/MAX Advantage on your own or I'd be happy to meet you there. Contact me through my website to arrange a time.

On May 22nd, Washington DC will block off some roads and hold their first DC Bike Ride starting and ending near the Capitol Building. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) in their efforts to deliver meaningful street safety programs in support of DC's Vision Zero Campaign. The route crosses the Potomac River and passes the Jefferson Monument and the Washington Monument. As part of the route, riders will pass the Holocaust Museum and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, both of which are portrayed in my painting DC Bike Ride. Although the Cherry Blossoms have finished, the ride passes through the area where the Cherry Blossom festival is held each year.

I'm wishing the riders a wonderful day. I had hoped to take photographs, but this is a special event day at Touchstone Gallery as part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations, so I had to invent my own ride. Artistic liberty is great!

Art on Exhibit at RE/MAX Advantage in Baltimore

April's Artwork Installed in RE/MAX Advantage Realty

Recently a friend recommended my work to the owners of RE/MAX Advantage Realty in Baltimore. After seeing their modern facility near the Baltimore Harbor I thought my art would be a great fit and I was happy to hear they agreed. Effective today I'm the third artist to have a solo exhibit in their facility. 

We're in the planning stages for a reception, so when the date is decided I'll be sure to add that information to this blog post. For now enjoy photographs from the installation. If you find yourself visiting the Baltimore Harbor, or an event at Pier VI, you are nearly there. Stroll down to the corner of E Pratt Street and S President Street and take a look. I've included original watercolors, fluid acrylics, and giclee prints in the show. If you see something you'd like to purchase, contact me. I'll be coordinating all sales.
